Chance the Rapper released his much-awaited debut album The Big Day on July 26th, and fans have been surprised and annoyed that much of the album seems to be about how much Chance loves his wife, Kirsten Corley. Chance has been open about the fact that the album was inspired by his wedding, but that hasn't stopped fans and critics from parodying the artist with videos and on Twitter. The most notable parody comes from @charliewinsmore, in the form of a cringey song with simplistic lyrics praising said wife. The tweets have been pretty good, too - lots of acknowledgement that Chance is going Borat. And fortunately Chance doesn't seem too phased by the roastin' and toastin'. While he gets deep in this Twitter thread, the rapper sticks by his sentiment - he loves his wife!
